Speaking about the event, John Sansome from the Dublin Simon Community said:
“This is a fantastic event to raise vital funds for homelessness at this very difficult time. We’re overwhelmed with the support from all the musicians, as well as the help of AIB, who have partnered with Visa to give their support to Simon this Christmas. We hope as many people can come down to support their marathon efforts on the 25th. We’ll have volunteer bucket shakers on the day, and to increase the fundraising effort, AIB are providing AIB Clover contactless donation devices, giving consumers the option of making contactless donations on the day.”
