Subscribers will receive digital versions of each of the label's releases and access to their back catalogue.
Sub Pop is joining the online service Drip.fm to offer their releases to digital subscribers, launching the service today. Subscribers will receive the digital version of every upcoming Sub Pop album on the day of release, along with smatterings of the label's older material. Audio quality will be in either 320 kbps or WAV formats.
For those planning to sign up, once the service is joined customers will receive a choice of three releases from clipping., Nirvana, Fleet Foxes, Earth and Shabazz Palaces, among others. The first 100 subscribers will be entered to win a prize pack containing, Beach House's Bloom LP (Loser Edition), a signed copy of the Deluxe edition of the Postal Service's Give Up LP, the Record Store Day pressing of Mudhoney On Top, and more.
