The audio-visual experience on Friday, May 5, will welcome fans of Ed Sheeran to experience an immersive world for his new album - ‘Subtract’.
To celebrate the release of Ed Sheeran’s new album Subtract this Friday, May 5th, the Irish Georgian Society in Dublin City Centre will host a special interactive experience.
Taking place from 12pm-6pm, fans can enjoy video clips from the Sussex singer-songwriter's new album and discover the one-day experience 'Submerse in Emotion'; an interactive listening experience which brings the dynamic atmosphere of the LP to life.
Entrance to Subtract is free and no tickets are required - on first come first serve basis. The experience for the final Mathematics era album is set to have groundbreaking technology. Attendees of the experience will also be in with a chance of winning a signed Ed Sheeran Lowden Guitar.
The listening experience dives into Sheeran’s personal life over the past three years, which has seen the UK artist struggle with copyright lawsuits, the death of his close friend Jamal Edwards, battling with depression and his wife's illness while pregnant.

“I had been working on Subtract for a decade, trying to sculpt the perfect acoustic album, writing and recording hundreds of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be,” stated Sheeran. “Then at the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.”
There was recently a fan experience in London the past weekend in support of the new project.

“Submerse in Emotion” will allow fans to see Sheeran for who he is and to enjoy the album for all its honesty and emotion.
“As an artist I didn’t feel like I could credibly put a body of work into the world that didn’t accurately represent where I am and how I need to express myself at this point in my life. This album is purely that. It’s opening the trapdoor into my soul,” Sheeran shared.
“For the first time I’m not trying to craft an album people will like, I’m merely putting something out that’s honest and true to where I am in my adult life.”
