American pop superstar Pink was forced to cancel another Australian gig on Monday evening as she was rushed to the hospital.
Roughly 20 minutes before sound check the singer experienced excruciating pain and was carted away to St.Vincent’s hospital. She suffered from dehydration and a gastric hydration and was released the Tuesday night after being treated for her ailment.
The postponement marks the second cancellation on the Australian leg of her 2018 Beautiful Trauma World Tour. On Friday, August 3, she was forced to cancel gig after complaining about an upper respiratory infection. She scolded paparazzi for suggesting that she cancelled her concert in order to bum out on the beach.
“This break in Byron has been scheduled since 2017,” Pink said. “This time, what these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vicks, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil, a screaming baby in the middle of the night…”
Despite her ailment Pink pushed through the pain and put on a dazzling performance Saturday evening, which did not do her condition any favors.
On Sunday evening she took her first trip to the hospital and was discharged the same night after being treated for dehydration.

In a statement on Instagram, Pink apologized to her fans and explained the circumstances of her most recent cancellation.
“I flip, dance, fly, harness, silk, and scream my way through a total shit show of awesomeness (no pun intended). Therefore, I need to be physically healthy and well in order to perform this show,” Pink said. “I think all of you deserve the full show and me at my best.”
Pink’s next Australian show will be this Saturday, until then she will be resting and drinking liquids in hopes of good health. She cleverly trashed on the paparazzi one again writing, “you [the paparazzi] might actually see me walking upright outside of my hotel room cage with two little children, and another warning: I might even smile. Not too much, though. I’ll try to control the smiling.”
