Sufjan Stevens will mark the 20th anniversary of his fourth record Seven Swans with a reissue, set to come out on June 21.
The expanded version of the album will include the B-sides ‘I Went Dancing With My Sister’ and ‘Waste of What Your Kids Won’t Have’ for their first digital versions.
Physical versions of the reissued record will include a zoetrope picture disc edition as well as a silver and split-coloured vinyl and a CD.
Seven Swans is one of the only records that Stevens didn’t produce himself. Instead, he worked with producer Daniel Smith, leader of the folk collective Danielson Famile, who also joined Stevens on backing vocals, drums and keyboard on various tracks.

The announcement of the reissue follows last year’s rerelease of Steven’s 2003 Michigan, as well as his latest album Javelin, which was rated a 7/10 by Hot Press.
