It's the second single from the duo's upcoming collaborative record Aporia
Sufjan Stevens and his stepfather Lowell Brams (of Carrie and Lowell) have released a new single titled 'Runaround', along with a music video.
It's the second single from the duo's upcoming record Aporia, following 'The Unlimited' which was released earlier this month. 'Runaround' is similarly an ambient track, but it has more of an intensity and urgency to it than the previous single. It's not fully instrumental -- there are vocal samples on the backend of the song.
It's accompanied by a visual of dirt bike and ATV riders riding through the streets of New York City, Atlanta and Miami, shot and edited by ABUTTA492. With dangerous tricks performed in slow motion, it bears the same intensity as the song.

Though the song is a departure from Stevens' acoustic guitar-laden solo work, it's in the realm of the work him and Brams have previously worked on together. Aporia, out March 27, is their second collaboration, following 2008 ambient record Music For Insomnia.
