“We’re absolutely living for the return of live music. For us, performing is probably the best part of being a musician. Without live music, the wind was really taken from our sails. I just want to have a beer on stage and rap at a sweaty crowd of people losing their collective shit. Is that too much to ask for? Our set is going to be hugely different; we’ll be performing a lot of new music for the first time, and we don’t know what our new crowd-pleasers are. I want a dirty mosh pit, personally – but I understand that we may have to wait for that! I’m most looking forward to the adventure of gig night. Honestly, it’s the best, most cathartic experience. I want the car trip to the show with the lads, to have the craic at soundcheck, to scream into a microphone until my voice hurts. I wanna be adrenaline-drunk walking off stage. I wanna chat nonsense with random gig-goers and my friends that buzzed through. I swear, I will never take live music for granted ever again.”
