SuBo bumps Cheryl Cole off the summit
In its first week in the charts, Susan Boyle's The Gift has gone straight in at no. 1. It is Boyle's second No. 1 album in less than a year. Bon Jovi remain static, still at No. 2 after two weeks with their Greatest Hits, while Cheryl Cole's Messy Little Raindrops falls two spots to No. 3.
James Blunt returns this week with his third album. Some Kind Of Trouble is a strong new entry at No. 4, while Michael Buble's Crazy Love completes the top 5 after 56 weeks on the chart.
Elsewhere, it's good news for returning solo artists, with a flurry of well-placed new entries. Cee Lo Green proves there's life after 'Crazy' as his The Lady Killer album debuts at No. 10. Ray Davies' See My Friends, an album that revisits the Kinks man's classic songs with host of collaborations, is at No. 12. The respective Kings of Rock 'n' Roll and Hip Hop, Elvis and Jay Z enter at No. 19 and No. 20.
