Clare songsmith Susan O’Neill has announced a show in Dublin’s Vicar Street for May 15, 2025 following the release of her album Now In A Minute in September.
The album was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press, with Caroline Kelly describing the project as a “concise piece of work that reveals O’Neill at her most layered.” It went on to debut at No. 1 on the Independent Albums Chart, and No.4 on the Irish Albums Chart.
Speaking of writing the record in a September interview with Hot Press, O’Neill explained: “I was very grateful to be surrounded by different genres and to realise, ‘Oh, there’s a thread here.'

“I was very chaotic in my thinking," she continued, "like most teenagers I suppose, but I just always had a very hard focus on music. I didn’t have to think about it. It was the thing I was good at and that was a nice feeling.”
Since the release of the critically acclaimed 2021 collaboration album with Mick Flannery In The Game, which was nominated for the Choice Music Prize and the RTE 1 Best Folk Album Of The Year, Susan has toured extensively across Europe and North America, performing both with Mick and solo on headline tours, festival stages.
She was also an invited guest to an array of artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Calexico, Jamie Cullum, Valerie June and The Teskey Brothers.
Tickets for Susan O’Neill’s Vicar Street gig sell from €25.00 starting Friday November 22 here.
