The Co. Clare singer has also unveiled the official music video for her recently released single ‘Bright Eyes’.
Irish singer-songwriter Susan O’Neill has announced the release of her upcoming solo album Now In A Minute, due out this September. The news comes accompanied by the release of O’Neill’s latest music video, a stunning visual production of her latest single ‘Bright Eyes’.
The second track to be released from her forthcoming album, ‘Bright Eyes’ is a story of belonging and purpose that highlights the importance of human connection. Paired with an intimate, black and white music video, ‘Bright Eyes’ showcases O’Neill’s immense musical talent and her ability to plant roots in the world around her.
“It’s a collection of images and clips from places that I find joy,” she explained of the new video, which was self-filmed and produced in the wilds of Co. Clare. “I’m a textural person, rocks, bones, salt & sea… I’m just exploring here, that’s all. That’s all I’m ever doing really.”
‘Bright Eyes’ comes as a follow-up to O’Neill’s March release ‘Drive’, an indie-folk earworm that saw the singer journey through the ups and downs of modern life.

“I’ve been tipping away at this thing behind the scenes,” she said of the new record. “Now, it is an album and it’s finished. I’m very much looking forward to sharing it with you. I had a great pleasure sharing the process with these wonderful humans who helped me manifest these recordings. Thank you to everyone who listens, comments, and supports. It means more than you know.”
O’Neill has recently announced that she will be returning to this year’s rendition of The Galway Arts Festival on July 18th and can be seen at the All Together Now festival on August 3rd. Her Now In A Minute headline tour will also include performances across Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick, Sligo and Belfast this autumn.
