Minor Goth gods The Mission refer to ‘Swoon’ as the “full balloon edit”. Unfortunately, I’m tempted to suggest that they couldn’t have appended a more appropriate mixing tag because ‘Swoon’ is by and large a bag of hot air. Classic pop phrasing here and there fails to disguise the apathy and indifference to what is your habitual and clichéd love lyric. Mission impossible, methinks.
