Free Music Friday favourites Sylvan Esso make their Irish bow on October 7 in the Dublin Workman’s Club and then nip up the following day to Belfast for a show in the Black Box.

One of the buzz bands at this year’s South By Southwest in Austin, the North Carolina duo have just released their eponymous debut album, which is a feast of chilled beats, breathy vocals and folky touches that make them a tough act to pigeonhole.
We’re also liking this Ms Mr remix of one of its standouts, ‘Coffee’.
