Folk-rock artist Tadhg Williams has announced an upcoming Irish tour, titled This Tour is a Nixer, beginning in May.
This includes an appearance at The Galway Folk Festival and performances alongside either Charles James and the Rise or Novatone. Tickets go on sale April 28 at 9 a.m., and can be bought at the door for his Belfast show. Letterkenny’s show is free of charge.
“This is the biggest tour I’ve done, and I’ve had a real itch to get out and play some gigs!” said Williams. “I’ve put this all together myself with the help of friends and other artists I love and admire. Being able to connect with people, talk about their connections to the stories I’m telling, feels like a real privilege.”
The tour comes after the release of his debut 2024 EP, This Record is a Nixer. He performed in Waterford and Dublin last year in celebration, and supported acts like Kingfishr and The Coronas’ Danny O’Reilly.
