Catch his live-streamed performance tonight on the Hot Press Instagram.
We're delighted to announce Waterford singer-songwriter Tadhg Williams as our latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – streaming live on the Hot Press Instagram tonight, June 9, at 7.30pm.
Earlier this year, Tadhg release his long-awaited debut single, 'My Father's Clouds' – first performed during a support slot for Glen Hansard in Vicar Street back in 2018.
His stream-of-consciousness, character-centred storytelling nods to the best of David Keenan, while sensitive arrangements bring his acoustic guitar-led approach to emotional new heights. 'My Father's Clouds' firmly establishes the 21-year-old as one of Ireland's most thrilling emerging songwriters.

Over the last few years, Tadhg has built up a formidable reputation in the Irish music scene on the back of high-profile support slots for Glen Hansard, David Keenan, Rozi Plain and Fields. As a poet, he has also performed alongside the likes of Emmet Kirwan, Sasha Terfous, Stephen James Smith and Natalya O'Flaherty.
Throughout the Lockdown Sessions, our line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
We encourage everyone who enjoys Tadhg's performance tonight to support him through this difficult time for musicians by buying his music here.
