It's taken two full months for me to get my head around the title-track from Drake's critically-adored second album Take Care. A Rihanna-aided reworking of Jamie xx's remix of Gil Scott-Heron's cover of Bobby Bland's 'I'll Take Care Of You', the song has clearly been through more musicians than Kate Moss, but the sooner you're able to overlook the tiny personnel problem, the better. Boasting a killer beat, Rihanna's most believable performance in aeons, a distorted cameo from the legendary Mr. Heron and some truly inpsired rhymes from Drake, 'Take Care' is easily one of the most addictive pop tracks of the past 12 months. Don't believe me? According to my iTunes most-played list, I have listened to it 35 times since I downloaded the album in November. Whoops. There goes number 36.
