Rubberbandits’ ‘controversial’ new song enters Singles Chart at No. 2
In the Christmas chart battle of the boybands, Take That seem to have wrestled back control. After being flung down to fourth by Ireland’s own Westlife last week, Gary and co are back at the summit today. Whether they’re back for good, we really couldn’t say.
That means Westlife’s Gravity adheres to the old law of physics (what goes up must surely come down) and falls from the top spot to No. 3.
Rihanna’s Loud remains unmoved at No. 2, while Susan Boyle and The Script make up the rest of the top 5.
The highest entry comes in the form of Michael Jackson newest (ahem) release, Michael, though entering at No. 18 is probably not that spectacular a result for the onetime King Of Pop.

If you’re keeping an eye on the Singles Chart due to the quite hilarious uproar The Rubberbandits’s new single has been causing on Liveline, their song ‘Horse Outside’ enters at No. 2. It just has to displace Matt Cardle’s ‘When We Collide’ for it to be a very merry Christmas indeed.
