Tame Impala will go on an eco-friendly tour
The Australian band have partnered with REVERB on its upcoming tour to reduce their carbon footprint.
Tame Impala have announced a partnership with nonprofit REVERB to reduce environmental waste while on tour for their latest album The Slow Rush (you can read our review here). The collaboration will include Eco-Villages at every stop, where fans can learn more about environmental nonprofits, join REVERB’s unCHANGEit campaign, use a free filtered water refill station, donate for a custom Nalgene bottle, and get a Tame Impala eco-friendly guitar pick.
The band will also be taking other eco-friendly initiatives while on tour, including funding projects that eliminate greenhouse gases, donating unused food and hotel toiletries to local shelters, recycling backstage and on tour buses, using reusable water bottles for all band members and crew, and more. Check out more details at REVERB’s website.
Tame Impala is set to play All Points East Festival in London on May 23.
