The accompanying single ‘2 Hands’ and its music video are out now.
Multi-platinum pop musician Tate McRae has announced the release of her third album So Close To What for February 21, as well as her 2025 Miss Possessive world tour, which will include a stop in Dublin’s 3Arena on May 16.
She also put out the accompanying single ‘2 Hands’, the follow-up to the 2024 ‘I’m ok I’m ok’, which earned McRae her highest-charting debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and has garnered over 165M global streams to date.
The Miss Possessive world tour is set to kick off in Mexico City on March 18 and wrap up in Los Angeles on September 26, with stops in São Paulo, London, Amsterdam, Prague, New York and more along the way.

Over the course of a career that kicked off in 2017 with the single ‘One Day’, Tate McRae has garnered over 11.6 billion career streams and multiple #1 Top 40 hits. She was also awarded the Artist of the Year award at the 2024 JUNO Awards, and received nominations for three MTV VMAs, two Billboard Music Awards, multiple People’s Choice Awards, and iHeartRadio Music Awards among others.
She’s collaborated with various artists including Regard and Troye Sivan on their #1 dance single ‘You’, along with Khalid on their track ‘working’, Tiësto’s ‘10:35’ and Jeremy Zucker on her track ‘that way’.
