The pop icon will release her new album in August.
Having performed two shows at Croke Park last summer, and recently releasing her single 'Me!', Taylor Swift took to Instagram to announce details about her new album Lover.
She wrote: "Lover, album out August 23. Cover shot by the artistic genius that is @valheria123. Pre-add, pre-save, pre-order (all the pre stuff you feel like doing) Can’t wait for you to hear this.”
The singer added: "I’ve been so, so, so honored. This album, in tone, it’s very romantic. Not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something. The idea of something being romantic, it doesn’t have to be a happy song. You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through things in your life… it just looks at those things through a romantic gaze."

On top of the album announcement, Swift also shared her new single 'You Need To Calm Down'.
The new single takes aim at homophobes, sexists, and trolls. Released during Pride month, it also throws in a reference to GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).
