Taylor Swift debunks rumours about theorised woodvale album
Swift simultaneously debuted the video for her newest single 'willow' after dropping her 9th studio LP 'evermore' last week.
Taylor Swift has officially denied the fan rumour that a third album is on the way, titled woodvale.
Appearing on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about her surprise album evermore, the beautiful follow-up to folklore; the singer-songwriter explained that 'woodvale' was a codename for her new albums before they were given their official titles.
Swift claimed that she accidentally forgot to remove a placeholder album title from some folklore promotional materials, but fans assumed it was one of her hidden Easter eggs.
In the interview, she also discussed the long pond studio sessions, singing with The National's Matt Berninger and cursing on her albums,
Swift released her 9th studio LP evermore last week with merely hours notice, five months after the release of her last LP folklore.
Earlier this month, the 31-year-old previewed a new version of her Fearless track 'Love Story' in an ad that Ryan Reynolds curated for Match - the first glimpse of her progress in re-recording her Big Machine Records catalogue after its master rights were purchased by Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings LLC.
