Swift is now one of two artists in the world to currently have over 100 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform.
Taylor Swift is officially the first female artist to accumulate 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, according to the streaming service.
"Queen behaviour. On August 29, Taylor Swift became the first female artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners," said Spotify’s social media accounts.
At the time of writing, Taylor Swift is the second most listened to artist on the streaming platform, behind Abel ‘The Weeknd’ Tesfaye who’s monthly listener count is around 110 million.
Currently, the pair are the only two musicians on Spotify to over the 100 million mark for monthly listeners.
