The mega pop-star made the donation to 'Feeding America' in the wake of major hurricanes
As Hurricanes Helene and Milton threaten the livelihoods of people across Florida, Taylor Swift has made a donation to Feeding America, who is helping to supply aid to those affected by the storms.
The donation was met with a thank you from the charity who said it was “incredibly grateful …" and Swift's contribution will "help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.”
The extreme devastation that has been caused by Hurricane Helene caused by flooding, high wind speeds, rip currents and marine accidents, with a storm surge over 15ft. Hurricane Milton has similarly left over 2 million homes without power.
Swift has a history of donating to philanthropic causes, and donated in both 2020 and 2023 to tornado relief efforts in her home state of Tennessee. She also has donated extensively to ending hunger efforts and food banks.
