Taylor Swift wrote a song about growing up on a Christmas tree farm and shared '90s home video footage of Christmas in the Swift family home.
Taylor Swift just released an original Christmas song, 'Christmas Tree Farm', and an accompanying compilation of home videos of the Swift household at Christmastime.
"I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm. In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest. Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem," the singer admitted on Twitter.

The single comes on the heels of Swift's 7th studio album, Lover, which earned the singer numerous Grammy nods, including a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album.

"An album that may perhaps mark the end of phase two of the Taylor-verse (ie. the one where Swift transitioned from talented country queen to super slick, all-conquering pop star), if Lover does mark the closing of that chapter in her life, she’s certainly finishing it with a bang," wrote Hot Press's Edwin McFee of the album.
