The singer-songwriter released the "sultry sleepless 70s fever dream" video with a few hidden easter eggs inside.
US star Taylor Swift has written, directed, and starred in a new music video for 'Lavender Haze.'
The sensuous track is taken from Swift's latest No.1 album, Midnights.
In the visuals, she wakes up beside her lover, played by transgender model Laith Ashley De La Cruz, before wandering through her home at night. Smoke begins to come out from under the bed and a psychedelic transformation grows lavender flowers across her living room floor. As she sings, her house begins to float through the a dreamlike space of stars and koi fish.
On Twitter, the Swift described the video as having "lots of lavender. There is lots of haze." She also gushed about working with De La Cruz, who she "adored working with."

'Lavender Haze' is the first of three videos Swift has written, although 'Lavender Haze's' "really helped [Swift] conceptualise the world and mood of Moonlights, like a sultry sleepless 70s fever dream."
Other clips have been released for No.1 hit 'Anti-Hero' and 'Bejeweled.' In the video, a short clip showing a black record sleeve with just the word "Mastermind" on it hints at a future project.
The videos come out amidst the Ticketmaster fiasco, wherein the Ticketmaster website crashed as countless fans attempted to purchase tickets for her Eras Tour. Ticketmaster and Live Nation are now under fire, facing not only lawsuits from Swifties about the matter but a hearing with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee.
Taylor Swift's Moonlights album is available now.
