The eagerly anticipated 11th studio album by the pop icon just 18 months after Taylor Swift released Midnights has just been released
- Taylor Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, was released after the global superstar announced its availability on her Instagram page. This was following its announcement at the Grammy Awards earlier this year, where Swift claimed her record-breaking fourth Album of the Year prize.
Taylor Swift will also be performing three shows in Dublin as part of the Eras Tour with dates scheduled for June 28, June 29, and June 30 at the Aviva Stadium. This upcoming dates will be the first time Taylor includes songs from the record live
The album's launch was marked by a surprise second announcement revealing an extended version with a total of 31 songs.
Swift said in a post on Instagram, "I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours. 🤍"

Swift collaborated with artists like Post Malone and Florence and the Machine on songs like 'Fortnight' and 'Florida!!!' Swift also worked on the album with her two producers: Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff and the National’s Aaron Dessner.
In a post on X, Swift wrote:

An anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure.
