The international pop sensation announced her upcoming album entitled The Tortured Poets Department during the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony last week.

Taylor Swift revealed the tracklist for her newest album The Tortured Poets Department, set to hit streaming platforms on 19 April with featured guests including rapper Post Malone and British band Florence + The Machine.

The album’s announcement came during Swift’s acceptance speech after being presented with her 13th Grammy award for best pop vocal album for Midnights. The same record later took home the title album of the year, a historic win for the megastar who is now the only artist to ever receive four album of the year Grammys.

“I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion from the fans,” said Swift. "So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19, it’s called The Tortured Poets Department, I’m going to go and post the cover right now backstage, thank you. I love you."
