The 'Shake It Off' star send out a message of encouragement to victims of sexual assault
Taylor Swift took a moment during her concert set to thank fans for their support during her lawsuit against DJ David Mueller.
The singer was performing at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida as part of her Reputation world tour.
Whilst playing piano, Swift noted how it had been one year since the jury ruled in her favour in a sexual assault
trial.
She said, "This day a year ago was the day the jury sided in my favour and said that they believed me.”
She continued, making the point that so many other victims of sexual assault aren't believed. "I just think about all the people that weren’t believed, or the people who haven’t been believed, or the people who are afraid to speak up because they don’t think they will be believed".

Swift send out her sympathies to the people who have suffered similar experiences as her that weren't listened to. "I don't know what turn my life would have taken if people didn't believe me when I said something had happened to me".
She then thanked the crowd, and her fans all over the world, for standing by her during the trial.
"I just want to say I’m so happy to see you and to have you and to know you through the ups and the downs of my life. So, thank you for everything. Sorry, I just haven’t really talked about it and I’m just really not composed at all", she said before breaking down into tears.
Last year, Swift accused Mueller of inappropriately touching her at a concert she gave in 2013. Swift claimed that Mueller had reached under skirt and groped her. When Swift went public with the allegations, the presenter denied all charges and sued the singer for $3 million.
Swift famously counter-sued the DJ for just $1. Fans at her Tampa show were given yellow $1 bills was a symbol of last years trial.
