The long-running feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun is set to be explored as a part of the Vs series from Warner Bros. Discovery.
Warner Bros. Discovery UK and Ireland has commissioned a brand new docuseries that dives into the long-running feud between pop sensation Taylor Swift and music industry exec Scooter Braun.
Tentatively titled Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, the show will come as the latest instalment in WBD’s Vs franchise, which has followed blow-out celebrity skirmishes such as Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s dramatic legal battle and the public divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The two part documentary will focus on the fallout from Braun’s $300 million deal to purchase Swift's first six albums back in June 2019.
Featuring legal experts, journalists and insiders from Swift and Braun's teams, the show will adhere to the standard Vs format, with one episode detailing Swift’s belief that the music sale was conducted without her input while the other will explore Braun’s allegations that Swift pitted her fans against him rather than engaging in negotiations.

“Taylor Swift’s dispute with Scooter Braun over the ownership of her music exploded into the mainstream, taking contract law from boardroom to social media and into public interest,” said Charlotte Reid, VP Commissioning, Networks & Streaming at WBD UK & Ireland. “It’s a high-profile, high-interest story that opened debate on fandom and dominated headlines, one which will resonate with our viewers who are highly engaged with access-led documentaries like Vs, which continues to be a popular format on Discovery+.”
The series will give viewers a comprehensive understanding of music rights while also diving into the influential roles of gender and fandom power within the industry.
Produced by Optomen TV, an All3Media company, the Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood is set to air in the UK and Ireland this June.
