The former Oasis frontman made the claim in response to a poll which places the likes of Walkers and Pringles at the top spot.
Far be it from us to drip over every comment that Liam Gallagher makes, but in some cases he's just so bang on the money that it's worth reporting.
The singer has today waded in on a discussion which has been raging throughout Twitter in the last 24 hours, after Channel 5 listed the UK's "favourite" crisp brands on their Crisp Pyramid.

The results were based on a poll, conducted by Channel 5, which asked the British public for their choices.
But considering that absolutely lukewarm brands such as Doritos, Pringles and Walkers all made it to the top tier, people have scoffed at the results.

Not one to step away from controversial subject matters, Liam Gallagher has added himself to the fray of this discussion, saying on Twitter: "Taytos are the best crisps in the universe THE END as you were LG x"
He later clarified his remarks, saying "cheese n onion".
