English pop band Tears for Fears have been forced to postpone their upcoming shows in Ireland, due to "unforeseen health concerns and on doctor's orders".
Tears for Fears, formed in Bath by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith in 1981, were due to begin a tour of the UK and Ireland on April 27.
All gigs have been postponed, with the Irish gig on May 2 being pushed back until January 31 2019.
Tears for Fears "apologise to their fans and are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused.
They look forward to working on finishing material for their first new album in fourteen years, with the hope of releasing it this autumn."
Tickets for 2018 shows remain valid for all rescheduled shows, except Birmingham and Glasgow - where the venues have been change and customers will be provided new tickets upon proof of purchase.
