The upcoming album follows 2021's It's Gonna Be Okay.
Taking to social media, Tebi Rex have announced that they're set to release "one last album", as their "final act" as a group.
The Irish hip-hop duo, who were previously tipped as one of our 'Hot For 2019' acts, released their acclaimed debut album, The Young Will Eat The Old, in 2019. The project featured the breakout track 'I Never Got Off The Bus', which appeared on the Normal People soundtrack, and has since clocked up nearly 1.5 million Spotify streams.
That album was followed by It's Gonna Be Okay in 2021, and the 2023 Sitcom EP. Along the way, Tebi Rex also performed at major festivals like ESNS, The Great Escape, SXSW, Electric Picnic, Other Voices, Longitude and Body & Soul.
"10 years," the duo wrote on social media, breaking the news that their journey as Tebi Rex is set to come to a close. "10 years spent laughing in recording booths. Spent chatting shit in green rooms. Spent performing to crowds both incredibly humbling and unimaginably fulfilling. Mic in one hand, drink in the other.
"Spent freestyling to YouTube beats," their post continues, "in cars that only get fancier over time. God bless that sync money. 10 years spent with your best mate, doing things you dreamed of in places you never thought you'd see. A real movie. But every movie has an ending. Every play a final act.
