Tebi Rex are back, balancing self-awareness and self-depreciation in their latest song that's sure to be a people pleasing hit.
Independent Irish Alt Hip-Hop duo Tebi Rex have returned with their latest single, 'People Pleaser'.
Following their trademark tongue-in-cheek, laidback delivery of March single 'IMTHEBEST', the song similarly features Max Zanga countering Matt O'Baoill's (Matt Ó) sleek vocals, alongside soft instrumentals and a complimentary catchy beat throughout the track.
The joyous and self-depreciating song exposes the duo's needy side, as well as their struggles to fit in.
"If you say that I'm nice or I'm kind yeah I'm there/ man I like being liked ok, I'm scared" proclaims Max as himself and Matt explore the things in life that makes them laugh. 'People Pleaser' is Tebi Rex at their most needy and desperate, yet arguably at their most entertaining and relatable aswell.

As they prepare for the release of upcoming EP Sitcom in the autumn, the duo shift gears to focus on the medium of television, pairing streamlined pop/hip-hop production with simple yet cyclical narratives.
Social media posts have hinted at a tongue-in-cheek sitcom style music video for 'People Pleaser', which the duo have promised is "coming soon".
Tebi Rex have proven themselves to be one of the most exciting Irish bands creating a stir in the industry, not only at home but in the US and UK. Their high-energy live shows, witty videos and engaging social presence have meant that Max and Matt have drawn in an ever-growing loyal fanbase.
