Terri's landmark birthday is also being celebrated with the release of Stuart Bailie's new book
Belfast punk icon Terri Hooley turns 75 this Saturday, December 23. To celebrate, he's making a guest appearance that same night at The Outcasts' show at The Limelight 2 in Belfast, performing a special DJ set.
Terri famously founded the Belfast record shop and label Good Vibrations in the early '70s, which put on releases by deeply influential punk bands like The Outcasts, Victim, Rudi, The Undertones and more. His remarkable story is the subject of the 2013 film Good Vibrations, as well as the stage musical of the same name.
Well-known music journalist and broadcaster Stuart Bailie has recently marked Terri's big birthday in his own special way – with the release of Terri Hooley: Seventy-Five Revolutions. Featuring over 100 photos, many of them unseen or rare, the book promises "fresh, revelatory interviews Terri and his friends."

The book is available to purchase in numerous locations in the North, as well as Spindizzy Records in Dublin. You can also order it from Bandcamp here.
Other special guests at The Outcasts' show – dubbed the Good Vibrations Christmas Party – include The Brian Young Band (performing Rudi's songs) and Johnny Hash.
Tickets for the Good Vibrations Christmas Party are available here. Doors open at 6pm.
