Producer and multi-instrumentalist George Daniel, best known as the drummer for the 1975 has debuted his solo single ‘Screen Cleaner’.
It is released on dh2, the brand-new electronic imprint he founded via the 1975 label Dirty Hit. It launched earlier this month at Phonox in London, where Daniel headlined alongside Kelly Lee Owens, with additional sets from DJs Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse.
The single was co-written by Tove Lo and Tim Nelson.

Daniel most recently produced two tracks for Charli XCX’s critically acclaimed album Brat, namely ‘Club Classics ‘ and ‘Apple’. He has been previewing his solo material at a number of her DJ sets throughout the summer, including her Glastonbury performance.
He’s been the drummer for the 1995 since 2002, earning four Brit Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards and a Grammy nomination alongside the band.
Daniel also produced two Japanese House albums, namely Good At Falling and In The End It Always Does.
