Róisín Dubh will hold a series of special gigs from 18-23 of June.
Galway music and comedy venue Róisín Dubh will hold a string of special gigs and events this June to celebrate 20 years in business.
The festivities begin on Tuesday, June 18, with a free silent disco. Irish indie favourites The Academic will kick off the series of live concerts the next day.
June 20 will see a performance from BAFTA-winning Irish comic and writer Dylan Moran. Kildare rock heroes BELL X1 are lined up for an acoustic set on Friday, June 21, with Choice Prize-nominated Soda Blonde taking the stage the following evening.
John Conneely will wrap up proceedings on Sunday, June 23, with free admission to his Sunday Sesh - a weekly staple in the Róisín Dubh.
Translating to 'Dark Little Rose', the Dominick Street venue has become an Institution in Galway, lauded for its intimate atmosphere by both artists and audiences. Over the past 20 years it has played host to a many renowned Irish and international performers, including Alan Carr, Franz Ferdinand, Imelda May, and Tommy Tiernan.
The establishment shares its name with one of Ireland's most well-known political songs, which has been covered by the likes of Thin Lizzy, Sinéad O'Connor and The Wolfe Tones.

In an Instagram post, Róisín Dubh expressed gratitude upon reaching the milestone. "Thank you for all your support over the last 20 years. It has been a pleasure," they said.
