The Mullingar band made their presence known with a sparkling rendition of 'Dancing In The Moonlight'.
The Aftermath's unique cover of the Thin Lizzy classic also featured a stirring saxophone accompaniement from Daire O'Reilly.
After their set, the band who are huge Philo fans, took time to soak in the surroundings of the exhibition.
"We were brought up on Lizzy," said frontman Johnny Cronin. "It's such an honour. It's a bit like playing in The Cavern in Liverpool and this is probably like Ireland's very own Cavern.
“He also revealed that 'Dancing In The Moonlight' had played an important role in his own musical career.
"I've played that song up and down the country for the last ten years and everybody loves it. Phil was like Elvis, Van Morrison and Hendrix rolled into one."
