The Beatles' 'last' song, 'Now and Then', is en route to topping the UK charts climbing 41 places after its debut last week.
The Official Charts Company has confirmed that The Beatles' 'last' song 'Now and Then' is likely to be the band's first Number 1 in 54 years – since 'The Ballad of John and Yoko' in 1969.
The song, featuring all four of The Beatles, is currently outselling the top 5. The track from John, Paul, George and Ringo would become the Fab Four’s 18th UK chart-topper.
'Now and Then' debuted at Number 42 last week based on just 10 hours of sales. However, it is expected to jump to the top of the UK's Official Singles Chart, climbing 41 places.

Martin Talbot, Chief Executive Officer of Official Charts, says: "What a week it will be if The Beatles return with a Number 1 in the Official Singles Chart. The Fab Four are a key part of the history of British music and the UK’s charts, so to have returned with such a huge impact is incredible.”
As for the rest of the chart, Jungkook of BTS could reach a new solo career peak with Standing Next to You' potentially landing at Number 2.
Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves' duet 'I Remember Everything' is also expected to climb five spots to Number 18, becoming each artist's first UK Top 20 single.
