The Coronas will now play four shows in total at the venue.
Due to overwhelming demand, The Coronas are slated to play two more dates at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin, marking four shows in total for the Dublin outfit this December.
Playing each night from December 16-19, the group will showcase past hits and material from their latest album on the 'True Love Waited Tour'.
The Coronas are finally getting to tour their last record, True Love Waits which managed to secure the No. 1 spot in the album charts, outperforming Fontaines DC and Taylor Swift while also becoming the fastest selling Irish album of 2020.
Like most artists, their plans were scuppered by the COVID-19 pandemic; however, they also unfortunately shared a similar name with the Coronavirus.
Speaking to Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole last year, they touched on how they dealt with the untimely coincidence.
"When it started around January, it was funny – we had a few Twitter comedians taking the piss," admitted bassist Graham Knox. "And then it started to become more serious, with people dying. It was just extremely unfortunate."

"It was a weird level of strangeness,” lead singer Danny O’Reilly reflected, looking back on the early days of lockdown. "But I don’t think the cross-over in the names is having any real negative effect on us.”
Tickets for the upcoming Olympia Theatre shows from €39.90 are on sale now from ticketmaster.ie.
