Watch The Coronas at Electric Picnic this Sunday, 4th September from 6.30-7.30pm on the Main Stage.
Ahead of their upcoming performance at Electric Picnic, Irish rock band The Coronas have announced the release of their brand-new single 'If You Let Me', which will be out on 7th September.
Produced by long-time collaborator George Murphy (Mumford & Sons, The Specials and Ellie Goulding) and mixed by Grammy Award-winning Peter Katis (The National), 'If You Let Me' is a joyous, catchy, indie-rock jaunt that shows The Coronas at their radio-friendly, foot-tapping best. The song follows the trio's single 'Strive' from earlier this year, which has been played extensively across Irish radio this summer and become a firm live favourite.
According to the press release, 'If You Let Me' is a declaration of support. It talks about those times when you realise that someone you care about is going through a rough time and how you cannot help but tell them how you feel, although they did not ask for it. The track is The Coronas' answer to The Jackson 5's 'I’ll Be There', in which the singer tells his former lover that he will always be there for them.

'If You Let Me' is the featured single from the group's highly-anticipated seventh album Time Stopped, which will be released on October 7th. "We are so excited and proud of this album - we cannot wait to release it to the world," The Coronas' said upon sharing the news on Instagram.

The release will be followed by a world tour with UK, EU, North American and Australian dates all scheduled before Christmas. In addition, the Dubliners (who are based between Dublin and London) are set to perform their legendary series of Christmas gigs at 3Olympia Theatre from 14-18th December, and a gig at Ulster Hall in Belfast on 4th December.
Before then, however, there is one more event that should not be missed: The Coronas' Electric Picnic performance this Sunday, 4th September from 6.30-7.30pm on the Main Stage, which follows the band's many sold-out gigs over the summer, in Marquee Cork, Trinity Series, King John’s Castle, Limerick and Park Live Wexford.
