Check out the new single from their hit album Thoughts & Observation below.
The Coronas today release the John Gibbons remix of the single ‘That’s Exactly What Love Is’ featuring vocals from Gabrielle Aplin.
Speaking of the new collaborations, The Coronas’ Danny says: "I think Gabrielle was the first person to mention that she thought ‘That’s Exactly What Love Is’ could work really well with the right club remix. As soon as she mentioned it, John Gibbons crossed my mind.
“We’ve known John for a few years and had mentioned possibly working together on something but I really just wanted to see first if he thought a remix would work on the track, and then, if so, would he like to try something.
“John loved the song and what he came up with really blew our minds - exciting and different, while still keeping the emotion of the track. He was a joy to work with.”

The single hails from The Coronas’ hit album Thought & Observation, which soared to the top of the Irish album charts one week after its release, and was followed by six sold out night in Dublin’s 3Olympia last December.
The record was rated an 8/10 by Hot Press, calling it “jam-packed with rugged songs, straight-from-the-heart conviction and true-life emotion.”
Hot Press’ Will Russell also followed the band on the road last summer, going behind the scenes at their big summer shows in Fairview Park and St. John’s Castle in Limerick.
Following a European tour in March, The Coronas will play a string of festival dates including Cork’s Live At The Marquee, Wicklow’s Kaleidoscope Festival and Belfast’s The Farmer’s Bash.
