Here's your soundtrack to another busy sporting weekend...
Having spent the week in Rugby World Cup mourning, Free Music Friday has binned the sackcloth and royally cheered ourselves up with another belting collection of downloads, streams, vids and trailers. Having been so comprehensively rucked by them, we've decided to back the Argies so Venga Usted Pumas!
Hot Chip have recorded a studio version of Bruce Springsteen's 'Dancing In The Dark', which was a highlight of their recent-ish Longitude set. The accompanying retro-flavoured video finds them segueing into LCD Soundsystem's 'All My Friends' - a double-whammy of epic dancefloor proportions!
They've also come up with an ace 11-minute remix of Music Complete standout 'Tutti Frutti', which sounds extremely Kraftwerky.
One of our favourite Free Music Friday things this week is the gorgeous new album from the celestial Joanna Newsom. Also streaming courtesy of the good NPR folk are a solo offering from Phish man Trey Anastasio, Philly rockers Beach Slang who look preppy but make a decidedly scuzzy noise, '70s disco loving New Yorkers Escort and Grupo Fantasma, an Austin, Texas outfit with an exotic cumbia bent.

Kerry-born, Dublin-based songstress Amano beguiles (again!) with this gorgeous version of The Weeknd's 'The Hills'. One of the hot to trot acts that received free studio time last year as part of the Guinness Amplify initiative, she impressed in April with debut single 'Skies' and has collaborated with Shankhill hip hoppers Dah Jevu.
FMF is delighted to make the acquaintance of Chicago punks The Mizzerables whose free 'As I Am' single reaches new levels of in your face-dom.
Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches was the special guest last Sunday when The National performed 'I Need My Girl' at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco. We think you'll agree it was a match made in musical heaven!

It's seriously blowing up in the States for Jamie Harrison, the Galway singer whose 'If Only I Knew Your Name' is the first taster from his new EP, The Borrowed Love, which drops before Christmas. Starting off in his home city as a busker, Jamie headed over in 2011 to Chicago where he played all of the Windy City's legendary blues clubs. His songwriting caught the ear of Coldplay, Sam Smith, Paolo Nutini and Emeli Sande producer Ken Nelson who helped him assemble the aforementioned EP in Westmeath's Grouse Lodge Studio in March.
You may recognise his voice from the gorgeous cover of Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer', which he recorded for the Lily-Mae campaign.
The Corrs have had their 'Bring On The Night' single premiered on BBC Radio 2. Taken from their White Light album which follows on November 27, it's a pop belter with the band's trademark close harmonies and a stomping finale. Welcome back, ladies and lad!
The stars well and truly came out on Tuesday in Brooklyn as Jay Z got a load of his superstar pals, including the missus Beyoncé, to perform at the Tidal X 10/20 concert. With Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Usher, Nick Jonas, T.I., Rick Ross and Damien Marley all doing their respective things, it was arguably an even more A-List affair than the Grammys.
