The Ultimate Irish Playlist hit Irish screens on Monday night, featuring performances from HotHouse Flowers, The Stunning, B*Witched, Bagatelle and more.
RTÉ 2FM listeners have named The Cranberries' 'Zombie' as the greatest Irish hit of all time.
The news comes as the station aims to compile a list of hits for the Ultimate Irish Playlist.
The protest song, written by the late Dolores O'Riordan in memory of the 1993 Warrington bombings, was crowned Ireland's most prized song according to responses from listeners.
The Ultimate Irish Playlist aired on RTÉ One on Monday night, revealing which bands had made it into the compilation of Ireland's favourite songs, after several weeks of voting had taken place.
Following the anticipated announcement, singer Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud performed a hypnotising rendition of the beloved 1994 track.

Hosted by DJ Tracy Clifford, the show featured a star-studded line-up of guests including singer-songwriter RuthAnne Cunningham and broadcaster Dave Fanning.
Musical performances came from legendary artists such as HotHouse Flowers, B*Witched, The Stunning, Bagatelle joined by Nathan Carter, Sharon Shannon and Mundy, and many more.
2FM listeners awarded second place to The Pogues for their 1988 hit 'Fairytale of New York', with 'The Boys Are Back in Town' by Thin Lizzy landing in third position, and 'N17' by The Saw Doctors coming in fourth favourite.
Nathan Carter joined Bagatelle bassist Ken Doyle to perform a powerful rendition of 'Summer in Dublin', paying tribute to the group's late frontman Liam Reilly, who passed away last year.
"It's very emotional [performing without Liam] but Nathan did an amazing job on it," Doyle said. "He put his own stamp on it which is lovely as well."
Landing in twelfth place with 'Galway Girl', Sharon Shannon spoke about how "really, really honoured and delighted" she is to have made it onto the playlist.
"It was an absolute fluke of a song. There was no plan, it just got handed into our laps," Mundy added.

"It's really nice to have made it onto the list, or any playlist," the Dublin native said. "It's great and we never get tired of playing it and that's the truth."
