Irish Artists For Palestine have announced a fire ceremony led by The Dingle Druid, Julí Ní Mhaoileóin. The ceremony is part of the Headford For Gaza fundraiser at Kilbeg Pier, which takes place this Saturday, 11th May.

The Dingle Druid's 'A Call for Peace - Awakening the Heart of Humanity' fire ceremony starts at 3pm, followed by a music session in nearby Campbell’s Tavern at 6:30pm. The session will feature performances from Nicola Joyce, Pauline Scanlon, Eoin Wynne, Fabian Joyce and friends.

Entry is free, with bucket donations strongly encouraged to directly support people in Gaza.
Priest of Teampall na bPlandaí (Temple of Plants) and The Dingle Druid, Julí Ní Mhaoileóin, has spent much of her life invested in the natural world, performing private spiritual and sacred medicine ceremonies. She served as celebrant for Sinéad O'Connor's funeral service and burial, and also contributed to the Sinéad O'Connor tribute issue of HotPress following the singer's passing last summer.
Following a fire ceremony led by The Dingle Druid, a trad session will take place at Campbell’s Tavern with The Whileaways’ Nicola Joyce, mesmeric Kerry vocalist Pauline Scanlon, alongside musicians Eoin Wynne and Fabian Joyce.
