The Fray are gearing up for a highly anticipated global tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, How to Save a Life.

The How to Save a Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour will cover 20 U.S. cities and 14 international destinations, concluding with performances at The Telegraph Building in Belfast on Friday 21st November, and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on Saturday 22nd November 2025.

Tickets start from €48, including booking fee, and go on sale this Friday, 21st February, at 10am via Ticketmaster.

Released in 2005, How to Save a Life became a defining album of the 2000s, earning critical praise and spawning hit singles like “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and the 5X Platinum title track. Topping the Billboard 200 Chart, the album’s deeply personal lyrics and emotive sound struck a chord with listeners worldwide, solidifying The Fray as a household name. Two decades later, the music still resonates, continuing to inspire and connect generations.

“We wrote songs in our parents’ basements and our grandpa’s barn, dreaming of playing our music with the world one day. The Fray, consisting of King, longtime guitarist Dave Welsh, and drummer Ben Wysocki, will kick off How to Save a Life: The 20th Anniversary Tour on 25th July in Dallas, TX. The tour will stop in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Nashville before concluding internationally in Dublin on 22nd November.

When the Colorado-native group first emerged in the early noughties, The Fray introduced a deeply emotional alt-rock sound—timeless yet innovative, arena-ready yet deeply intimate. Over the years, their soulful songwriting and dynamic sound earned them four GRAMMY Award nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, multiple Billboard Top 10 hits and a dedicated global following.

Their breakout single, ‘How to Save a Life’, spent an impressive 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became an unofficial anthem for ABC’s Emmy-winning Grey’s Anatomy. Their 2005 debut album, How to Save a Life, is RIAA-certified 4x Platinum in the U.S. and remains one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time. The band is currently working on new music set for release later this year.
