The Hives have announced a new album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, set for release on August 29, 2025.
The upcoming record will be the band's seventh album, and their first since 2023's The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons.
It will feature "thirteen pieces of music crafted with commitment, abandon and skill in Sweden in cohorts with the esteemed producers Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Mike D of Beastie Boys."
The Swedish rock five-piece have also released the LP's first single, 'Enough Is Enough,' accompanied by a music video shot in Bucharest.

"Who in their right mind would start a song like this? No one but The Hives," said the band about the track. "They are here again sooner than you expected and they have had enough of everyone at this point. Hence the title. Dig? Dig."
The five-piece are also going on an European tour in 2025, but no Irish date has been announced. You can see the full tour dates list here.
Formed in Fagersta, Sweden, in 1993, The Hives consists of Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem.
With millions of albums sold over their thirty-year career, the band have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with through their distinctive garage-rock sound, their eccentric live performances, and their signature tuxedos.
