Coming into the year hot - the Dublin soul rockers are keeping busy.
Mixing rock and roll sounds with the wild Afro-beat rhythm, The Hot Sprockets have pulled a full list of releases and tour dates out of their sleeves, pouring vibrant energy into every aspect of their work.
Their new single ‘Cold Cold Sweat’ is due to be released on the 9th of March - with an accompanying music video being released on the 1st of March, directed by Joey Ingersoll. Packed with a rolling melody and pounding drum beats, jazzy guitar and blaring brass notes, ‘Cold Cold Sweat’ is this groovy, dancey tune that will sound incredible live - getting every set of hips in the room moving and shaking. It’s a song very on form with their self-declared psychedelic flavours that fans go crazy for.
Following this, their third studio album Dream Mover is due to be released on the 6th of April and to celebrate this, the five-strong group will kick off their first Dublin gig of the year in The Button Factory on the 14th of April - pre-sale tickets now sold out!
This buzzing and ambitious band will then tour the rest of the country from April to June, with nine dates following their Dublin show (see below). Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster and each venue online - be sure to keep an eye out.
