The Leopardstown event will kick off on June 8th, with this year's Eurovision bid, Wild Youth set to perform.
English synth-pop trio, The Human League, have been announced as the latest headliners for Bulmers Live at Leopardstown on Thursday, 17th August 2023.
The legendary 80's pop group formed in their school years, when Phil Oakey met Joanne Catherall and Susan Anne Sulley in a Sheffield nightclub. During the course of their lengthy career, they have released nine studio albums, a remix album, a live album, numerous singles, and nominations for both a Grammy and a Brit Award.
The biggest selling single of 1981, ‘Don’t You Want Me’- was a duet between Oakley and Sulley, examining a love affair from both perspectives. The outfit have proven themselves to be seasoned pop hit-makers with releases like ‘Mirror Man’ and ‘Human’ in their catalogue too.
Being no strangers to touring, the band having been doing so since their inception, and only recently played support for Lionel Richie in Dublin's St Anne's Park on Sunday, June 4th. In 2021, The Human League celebrated the 40th anniversary of their triple platinum album Dare with an extensive UK and European tour.

The band have also commanded the stage alongside the likes of Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Culture Club, appearing at independent concerts and festivals worldwide, even performing on Top of the Pops and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
