Jaded Sun played a blinder of a show in Whelan’s recently, and attendees included representatives from Kerrang and Penthouse! The latter periodical brought competition winners over to the show, and will feature the band in an upcoming edition – an unusual claim to fame for a bunch of Irish rockers.
The band have just completed a successful tour of Germany and Holland and will be releasing the single ‘Crave’ on October 1, taken from excellent debut album Gypsy Trip...

They also play the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre on September 11 at 7pm as part of a series of free live concerts next month...
Also a regular occurance in September will be The Bionic Rats’ Tuesday residency in Whelan’ s. The ska/reggae combo which features members from Ireland, Nigeria and Armenia are currently in the studio recording their debut album.
