A preview into events leading up to Christmas, Roisin Dwyer's got the latest.
One of the highlights of this year’s Electric Picnic was the Hot Press Chatroom appearance of Jinx Lennon and Miss Paula Flynn, a performance they just about topped at their fantastic show in The Sugar Club recently. Don’t worry if you missed it: the DVD will be available soon. You will also be delighted to hear that Paula’s new single ‘Happy Christmas Valentine’ will be available from the end of November.
The track was mostly recorded chez Paula with HP contributor Greg McAteer on guitars. Paul Carolan from Evil Harrisons recorded the drums in Tumbleweed Studios and piano, glockenspiel and omnichord were recorded by Brian Crosby in Exchequer Studios Dublin. The accompanying video should be up on her MySpace soon!
