The Last Dinner Party's debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy, will be released on Friday 2nd February via Island Records.
Ahead of the release of their debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, The Last Dinner Party have announced details of their upcoming UK/Irish tour, with a Dublin show in 3Olympia Theatre on 7th October 2024.
Having recently achieved the BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2024 and the BRIT Rising Star Award, the London-based outfit have enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last year. The band features Abigail Morris, Aurora Nishevci, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Lizzie Mayland.
Their upcoming debut album, Prelude To Ecstasy, is expected to drop on 2nd February via Island Records, featuring lead singles, ‘Nothing Matters,’ ‘Sinner’ and ‘My Lady Of Mercy.’
Speaking about Prelude to Ecstasy, the band commented: “Ecstasy is a pendulum which swings between the extremes of human emotion, from the ecstasy of passion to the sublimity of pain, and it is this concept which binds our album together.
“This is an archaeology of ourselves; you can exhume our collective and individual experiences and influences from within its fabric. We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life.”
